Biography

A seasoned banking and judicial administration professional with more than 40 years of progressive leadership experience in financial services and public service. Demonstrated expertise in commercial and consumer lending, business development, branch management, operational leadership, and executive administration.

Throughout a distinguished banking career, advancing through a series of leadership roles including Assistant Vice President, Community Office Manager, Loan Operations, Business Banker, Commercial Lender, and Mortgage Officer. Successfully directed sales, financial operations, lending portfolios, and customer relationship management while leading high-performing teams and delivering exceptional client service. Extensive experience in small business lending, commercial and consumer credit, loan operations oversight, regulatory compliance, and strategic business development.

Karen’s commitment to operational excellence continued in her role serving as Judicial Secretary for the County of Butler, providing administrative support to the Family Court. Responsible for coordinating and managing court schedules, including motions, pretrial conferences, judicial conferences, and hearings, while ensuring the efficient administration of court proceedings. She served as a key liaison with members of the legal community with court filing procedures and hearing schedules.

Known for strong leadership, sound judgment, operational excellence, and a commitment to serving both the business community and the public with integrity and professionalism. Brings a unique combination of financial expertise, executive management, and judicial administration experience developed over four decades of dedicated service.

Following her service with the Butler County Court of Common Please, Karen joined Sinatra & Istik Law office where she leverages her background in Court Administration and legal operations to support clients and attorneys.

Outside of her professional life, Karen enjoys horseback riding, card making, walking and spending quality time with her family.
